Here&#8217;s his list of things that, as a designer, <strong>you must know:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>What makes you distinct.<\/li>\n<li>Your value lies in your distinctiveness.<\/li>\n<li>That makes you a minority.<\/li>\n<li>There will be pressure to conform.<\/li>\n<li>Your value is lost in assimilation.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Also, he made sure to counter Don Norman&#8217;s feeling by saying emphatically, <strong>Everybody is <em>not<\/em> a designer<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Great stuff.
