I swear, all I do is read&#8230;here is a sampling of the things I&#8217;ve been reading lately:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Emails<\/li>\n<li>A for-fun book<\/li>\n<li>Lots and lots of school reading<\/li>\n<li>Blogs<\/li>\n<li>Websites<\/li>\n<li>Some not for-fun nor for-school books<\/li>\n<li>Assignments<\/li>\n<li>Things I&#8217;ve written<\/li>\n<li>Computer Program Code<\/li>\n<li>Menus<\/li>\n<li>Street signs<\/li>\n<li>Newsgroups<\/li>\n<li>Tests (which others have taken)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>What if all of this reading could be done really quickly and easily without any&#8230;you know&#8230;reading!?  I think that would be really cool, except for the for-fun reading&#8230;since that&#8217;s already done for fun.  Scientists should really get on solving this reading problem.  It seems like so much time is lost for so little information transfer&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>In other news, E is currently working on an air hockey game for the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.merl.com\/projects\/DiamondTouch\/\">DiamondTouch<\/a> table.  That should be really fun once he&#8217;s done.  I&#8217;m always impressed by good programming skillz.  I gotta get me some of those.  Or just <strong>buy<\/strong> a really good programmer for my very own.  <\/p>\n<p>I may try installing <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mythtv.org\/\">MythTV<\/a> again, this time using KnoppMyth.  I worked on getting this to work all summer, but never quite got there&#8230;I always have a hard time with Linux.  <\/p>\n<p>Gave out my first midterm grades yesterday.  Subsequently, a bunch of people are now pissed.  That&#8217;s ok&#8230;if they can defend the answers they wrote, then I&#8217;ll raise their grades.  For now, I think my grading was fair.<\/p>\n<p>Enough of this hubdrubbery.
