I feel like my memories of freshman year are starting to fade. I really don&#8217;t want that to happen. That year was certainly a crazy one. I probably learned more about life in general in that 9 month period than I have in any other time of my life. Below, an ode to freshman year:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\nLots of experimentation. Lots of change. Little sleep. <em>Lots of fun.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Dorm food. Meal points. Drinking beer. Realizing beer is kind of gross. <\/p>\n<p>Walking to class. Not going to class. Homework. Hard as fuck classes (Revelle gives no gifts). <em>Learning that school isn&#8217;t always about classes.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Ethnicities. Racism. NorCal. <em>SoCal.<\/em> <\/p>\n<p>Calculus. Hum. Computer Science. Linguistics. <em>Cognitive Science.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Secret crush. Public crush. Tell all letters. <em>Roots of love.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>New friends. Frat people. Jew Crew. Suite 350. <em>Lifelong bonds.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Getting lost on the bus (day 1). Video Documentaries. The Cliffs. <em>Roommates with opposite sleeping schedules? <\/em><\/p>\n<p>Experimentation. Brown hair. Drunk Passover. Tijuana.<em> Et Cetera.<\/em>\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>&#8230;that was fun.
