I think I was born in the wrong country. Perhaps beginning life in Chicago isn’t that far off from somewhere like Toronto or Winnipeg. It’s cold here, and people do have a funny accent.

What I’m getting at is that at the age of 25 I randomly find myself addicted to Canadian Media. In fact, I’ll listen to any podcast the CBC makes, and it’s pretty likely that I’ll love it as much as a hearty bowl of Poutine.

CBC Radio 3 is the perfect mix of lighthearted tomfoolery and fantastic indie music. I’ve found a number of new bands to listen to on shows like R3-30 and Radio 3’s music podcast.

Then, for my more intellectual techno-focused self, there are shows like Spark and Search Engine which make a half hour go by like nothing.

Anyway, I’m hooked to CBC media. Now off to find the nearest place that serves Poutine…
